How to Add a Group Class
This article will show you how to add a group class to your Varsity Tutors My Learning account.
Step 1: Sign in to Varsity Tutors through varsitytutors.com/login-for-schools.
Step 2: Navigate to "Classes and Self-Guided" in the top navigation. Hover over "Classes and Self-Guided" and after it expands, click on "Explore Live Classes."
Step 3: Type the subject of the class you want to take into the search bar. The results will show up automatically below the search bar.
Step 4: Select the class you want to take and click on the image.
Step 5: Select the schedule that works best for you and click "Enroll Now."

How to Add a Subject to Your Varsity Tutors Profile
This article will show you how to add a subject to your Varsity Tutors profile.
Step 1: Sign into your account using your school provided single sign on (SSO). You can access the sign in experience at varsitytutors.com/login-for-schools.
Step 2: Find the "Add a new subject" button down the page next to the "My Subjects" header and click it.
Step 3: In the search field, type in the name of the subject you want to add. Click the Search button.
Step 4: On the results page, scroll to find the subject that best matches what you typed in the search field. Click on the name of that subject.
Step 5: On the subject page, click the button that reads "Add to my learning."

Logging in through Google Classroom is easy! Follow these steps to access your Varsity Tutors for Schools dashboard and start learning.
Option 1: Log in through Google Classroom
1. Open Google Classroom:
Sign in to your Google SSO dashboard.
2. Select the Varsity Tutors App:
Click on the app to access your dashboard.
3. Explore the Platform:

How to Start an AI-Chat Tutoring Session
This article will tell you how to start an AI-Chat Tutoring session.
Our AI-Chat Tutor is a useful tool for any student who is struggling with a problem or concept. Available 24/7, it is designed to never directly provide an answer - it will work with the student to iteratively solve the problem it is given, resulting in the student having a better understanding of the concept.
Students ask a question or enter a problem and the tutor will walk through steps to solve the problem, ensuring engagement and building understanding along the way.
How to start a session:
Step 1: Navigate to https://www.varsitytutors.com/login-for-schools and sign in using your school-provided SSO.
Step 2: Look for the blue lightbulb at the right side of your browser window. Click on the bulb to expand the AI Tutor.
Step 4: Search for or select a subject and type in the challenge you are experiencing or the problem you need to solve.
Step 5: Work with the tutor to solve the problem and better understand the concept.

How to Join a Tutoring Session
This article will walk you through a step by step process to join a tutoring session.
Step 1: Go to https://www.varsitytutors.com/login-for-schools and sign in through your school provided SSO. If you need help, click on the links below:
Step 2: After you sign in you will be directed to the My Learning homepage. If you have a scheduled tutoring session it will be here. 15 minutes before the session you will see a "Join your session" button. To enter the session click the "Join your session" button.
Step 3: You will be asked to enable and test your camera, microphone, and audio. Once this is complete you will enter the session with your tutor.

Sign in to your ClassLink dashboard.
2. Select the Varsity Tutors App

3. Join your Session:
Click "Join Your Session" when it's time to

How to Reset Your Password
Forgot your password? Follow the quick and easy steps below to access your account if your school district utilizes Username and Password login rather than a SSO.
How to reset your Varsity Tutors for Schools password (Username and Password login districts only)
1. Go to: https://www.varsitytutors.com/login-for-schools
2. Click "Forgot Password" and enter your school email address.
3. Click "Send reset link"
4. Check your email inbox for an email notification. Click "Change your password" from the email notification to reset your password. Important Note: If you do not receive a reset password email notification, reach out to our Support team. You can submit a customer support ticket here.
5. Refresh your tab and navigate back to the login page. Enter your email address and new password.
You should be successfully logged in now!
